To my beautiful readers!
You are truly the best gift any author could ask for. Your devotion to my work, your willingness to forgive me when I screw up and your ability to embrace the characters that come to life in my twisted mind as voraciously as I do is amazing.
With the crazy that Christmas brings to my household, I wanted to take a moment, now the day after to wish you well. Today, several countries will celebrate Boxing Day – though to be honest, I really don’t know how they celebrate it, so I just want to wish you all a good one, even if you don’t. If it is a day we celebrate or not, we can all wish each other the best.
As the New Year approaches, I am beginning to consider my goals and dreams for 2017. Reed will be released in the first part of the year – assuming I can get myself together enough to finish the editing. After Reed, I honestly don’t know. I have several book ideas in mind, but feel my crazy alter ego, Ms. Anna Cummins sneaking out more and more lately, so I may let her loose and see what naughty and audacious things she has to share.
One goal that I have for the New Year is balance. I will (even if it kills me) find some balance in my life, between the demands of an active family and those of the sometimes strange and relentless characters that will eventually force me to tell their stories, I will find a way to make it all work out.
What will 2017 bring for you? I hope it will be full of love, hope and joy, because it is you, my darling readers that bring such joy to my life. When I hear from you, telling me that you’ve enjoyed one of my books, or that something I’ve written has touched you in a very personal way, it lightens my heart and reminds me why I do what I do.
I am not much on reflecting or wallowing in the past, so let us look forward to our new book boyfriends, to our new loves and crushes and enjoy what amazing things 2017 will bring.
